Episode 32: The Science of Life- Ayurveda and You

Quick Note- This episode has been published a week later than expected due to some technical issues that had to be ironed out. We did our best ironing.

I sat down and chatted with my childhood friend, Devang Shah, who is Head of Marketing at AyurPrana and previously oversaw operations at Banyan Botanicals, both in Albuquerque, NM.

He teaches me the basics of Ayurveda, its universal principles, and how it is a sister science of yoga that still isn’t as well-known and understood. He also explains why Ayurveda is truly meant to help you understand the unknown and perhaps unseen forces in your life one layer deeper, both through an internal and external process.

I tell him about my own ailments and we figure out which elements are dominant in my life. Let me tell you, mama needs to get her balance in check!

We of course talk about all the fantastic work Banyan Botanicals is doing, his mentor Dr. Vasant Lad, and how his latest project, Live Ayurprana, will be offering online health coaching sessions with Ayurvedic practitioners who can help you start your Ayurvedic journey.

I don't know about you guys but I'm planning to start the new year a bit more balanced and bit more focused on my own mental health. 2020 handed our asses to us, it's time to get that Ayurvedic cleanse and reboot.
